STARTING SOLIDS

The best time to start introducing solids is six months. Before this, your baby’s digestive system is still immature and developing, and introducing solids too early can increase the risk of infections and allergies. It is also easier to do this at six months.

Starting your baby on solids before six months will not necessarily make them sleep through the night. There is no evidence to support this.
