CHILDREN AND PETS

  • Never leave a baby or young child unsupervised with a dog or cat
  • All dogs can bite if they feel threatened no matter how friendly they normally are and can never be completely predictable around children
  • Prevent children from teasing dogs or cats
  • Ensure your children wash their hands after handling pets
